              In 1977, Evan Mecham and sons, Dennis and Kyle, at Mecham Pontiac of Glendale Arizona began modifying brand new Pontiac Trans Am cars to get more power, better handling and collector car numbering like the Shelby Mustangs and Yenko Camaros. The cars were sold when new to enthusiasts from many Pontiac Dealers across the United States. Along with Trans Am's, Mecham/DKM  built 1 Prototype Macho Z in 1978 and 7 in 1979.    

This car is the last one built and the only one retaining low original, miles, original paint, interior, engine, drivetrain....everything down to original tires.

Only battery and gas tank have been changed over the years.
